Our story
About Eddie's Automotive
Eddie's Automotive has built its name in Bakersfield one repair at a time. Most customers find us through a referral, a friend who's been driving with us for years or another local business that sends people our way when they need someone who won't run up the bill.
Eddie learned the trade working on Hondas for years before opening his own shop, and he still approaches every car the same way: figure out exactly what's wrong before touching a wrench, then explain it in plain terms. Whether it's a full engine diagnosis or a quick fix like new lighting, we take the time to get it right and charge a fair price for the work.
We're not the biggest shop in Bakersfield, and we like it that way. You talk to Eddie, Eddie works on your car, and you drive away knowing what you paid for.
- Honest, no-guesswork diagnostics
- Fair, transparent pricing

- Built on word-of-mouth referrals
What customers say
“Finding a trustworthy and reliable engine mechanic is like mining for gold. I found the best with this crew! Will be taking my car to Eddie for any and all engine maintenance!”
“It's been over a year since I took my daughter's car there. Today my SIL asked me if I knew of a good, honest mechanic, and Eddie's was the first place I thought of. No hassle, just great reliable and quality service. I'd recommend him every time!”
“Eddie was absolutely astonishing wonderful. He answered all my questions, gave me info that was useful, was fast in and out. Fixed me up and got me on my way with no issues or doubts. I highly recommend him. I asked another business for recommendations for auto mechanics that were good and not out to rip people off, and Eddie is who I got. Could not be happier.”
